Should I or Shouldn’t I?
So I’m going to ask around other places than here, but I’m wondering . . .
on my site there are three bunnies that “greet” you.
The black one on the bottom of all pages is my very first rabbit.
The gray one on the right side is my second rabbit and my very first buck.
The gray one on the left side is a BUB from my first litter.
Of course, this is a mile stone for me. Whenever I look at my site I can remember my bunnies and see how far I’ve come, however, I feel as if it might be setting the wrong impression.
Should I be putting my best rabbits up there so people can see the quality I have? Should I put the rabbits that are the colors I’m breeding?
So . . . should it stay the same or change? And if it should change, to what?
Thanks guys!
Pictures might be coming later!

I don’t really see how that’s setting the wrong impression. Those were some of your bunnies…I think it’s good the way it is as far as the pictures go. But if you want to change it, I don’t think it would be bad or anything. One suggestion though, I can’t really read the “netherland dwarfs in northern virginia.” I had to look really close to read it, so if you want people to know what it says you should probably change the color.
okay…long comment. I’m done!

Hm… I think it should stay. No one is really going to notice the quality, are they? If they really wanted to look at quality, wouldn’t they personally ask you for pictures, or look at the bunnies on your pages? Unless someone is really super picky or snobby or something, they would at least give you a chance, wouldn’t they? But then again, you are also right about the quality thing, but I would still go with the bunnies that are already there, if they are a milestone for you. So you can really remember what you started with and where you are now. I actually see a lot of sites with “fun” pictures, not all quality. It’s just whatever works for you.
Hope this helps!

I love the homepage, I would leave it-the ‘cutouts’ of the bunnies look great. Now, if it were me, I’d probably take some side/posing shots of your bunnies on the ‘Our Rabbits’ page, the BEWs look Awesome!! Of course, that’s just my two cents-LOL I love seeing any picture, it’s much better than just text.;-) Looks like you’ve got some awesome stock, can’t wait to see your site a year from now and how you’ve improved with your bloodlines.

Ok, so everyone says it stays.
It helped!

They’re sooooo pretty. *in awe*
Thanks Rose – I noticed that myself . . . I think I might need to switch my rabbitry colors (they’re pink and green) :-/
Thanks Hannah.
Lindsey – I totally agree! *frustrated look* I was going to take ALL new pictures yesterday but it failed. xD Today I spent it hanging out with the bunnies and trying to get around to the terriotoral/shy/jerk ones.
I think I’ll comprimize over Christmas break and take a picture or two a day of bunnies.
I love the BEWS too!
And thanks for the compliment! As soon as I can get the darn does to breed, I really think I’ll make some progress!
