Nestboxes
Well, I’ve already failed you by not posting enough. But I hope you’ll enjoy this post about nestboxes.
My owner baises all her nestboxes like this one: http://www.thenaturetrail.com/BuildingNestBoxes.htm
It takes an hour or two to build one and it’s very simple. If you like, you could probably buy one off of my owner.
You use a nestbox (or a kindling box) for keeping newborn rabbit kits in.
Put the box in the pregnant rabbit’s cage 2 to 3 days before the kits due date. This gives your rabbit enough time to get use to the box and build her nest in it.
Sometimes, of course, the rabbit doesn’t build her nest in the box and then you have to put it in yourself.
Nestboxes are a necessary piece of a equipment to any rabbit.
Hope you have yours!
