Catching up!

So I’ve been TERRIBLE about blogging, sorry, I’m on break, what do you expect?

The news?

1) Kentucky seems to have breeding problems . . . once I get the time to really focus on it, I’m going to give him a through checking over and make sure it’s not just that he’s small or w/e

3) Solar is due on the 30th. She’s inside the house just in case, although the weather has been . . . warm! (how does that work?)

4) Picking up Basil next week! Yay!

Other than that?

Not much! Just the weekly stuff done, I’m hopefully going to do some bunnyish stuff this week. Last week was crashing and was spent being sick, writing and watching movies.

4 Kings Rabbitry had a blog post on rabbitry expensives so I thought I’d throw out a bit of info I have for my own rabbitry:

Cages – $80, $30, $60, $40 – total cages: 21 (all wire with trays) total spent: $210

Cages are something I’m very satisfied with. 3 of the cages I have can be over $200 (not sure of their current price) and since I don’t have space for any more cages, I’m fairly certain I can say my cages are complete. :)

Supplies – water bottles, brushes, food bowls, nestboxes, etc -  Total spent: (aprox.) $50

I was very lucky in that a lot of my supplies was free or cheap . . . however, the full price items do add up

Shed – FREE!

Rabbits – over $500 dollars, yup – that’s where it gets expensive for me! but to be fair, I have sold a lot and made some money. ;)

Total spent:

Aprox: $760

and I’m a youth breeder so this doesn’t include electricity, things my parents got me as presents, etc.

Rabbits are expensive. o_O

I’ll keep y’all updated on Solar . . . she’s definetly got something in her tummy!

Hope everyone is having an AWESOME break!

    I buy all my cages used . . . that’s why they’re so cheap. ;)
12 of them I got free and it only cost $40 to fix them up. :)
